They seek object-oriented software engineers from STEM backgrounds to be part of this newly formed team working on greenfield projects and application builds. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions, collaborating across teams, and bringing creative problem-solving to real-world challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain scalable software systems
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture decisions, and promote engineering best practices
- Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues
Ideal skills profile
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, and C++). C and Rust are beneficial
- 1-2+ years of experience in software development
- Containerisation tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of probability, statistics and calculus
- Interested in finance, derivatives and options business area
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM subject
